Ilhéu das Rolas - Marco do Equador

Estivemos no Ilhéu das Rolas, antigo Ilhéu Gago Coutinho (foi ele que fez o levantamento geodésico da colónia, entre 1915 e 1918 e marcou o local de passagem do Equador neste ilhéu).
O caminho não estava bem sinalizado, mas a comissão da aldeia, que fica ao lado do Pestana Equador, ia limpar o caminho no fim de semana seguinte. Também o local do Marco do Equador é mantido limpo por um habitante local, de livre iniciativa. O Hotel, que faz dinheiro com os turistas, bem podia ter uma participação maior no alindamento da ilha.
O mapa-mundi, que está no Marco do Equador, foi feito com mosaico porcelânico da Cinca, segundo projeto da empresa Rotas de África, em 2003. O padrão é de 1936. Estas empresas também podiam fazer alguma coisa pela manutenção do local, reparando os mosaicos degradados,com retorno publicitário.
Vale a pena suportar a subida, para poder tirar uma foto com um pé no hemisfério norte e outro no sul, beber um sumo de coco acabado de abrir e desfrutar da paisagem.
We have been at Ilhéu das Rolas (Doves Islet), former Gago Coutinho Islet (it was this famous aviator and navigator who made the geodetica survey of the colony and marked the passage of the Equator in this islet).
The path was not well marked, but the village comission, of the poor village that stands beside the Pestana Equador Hotel had scheduled a cleaning of the path the following week. The local of the Equator Mark is kept clean by a local villager, by his own initiative. The Hotel, which profits greatly with the tourists, could have a greater participation in the tidying up of the island.
The Equator Mark sits atop a world map of porcelain tiles from Cinca, following a project of  Rotas de África, of 2003. These enterprises could do something about the maintenance of the local, repairing the degraded tiles, with an advertising benefit.
To endure the mild climb is rewarding, to be able to take a picture with a foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern one, drink the juice of a just opened coconut and enjoy the view.

On a visité l'Ilhéu das Rolas (Îlot des Tourterelles), auparavant Îlot Gago Coutinho (c'est ce fameux aviateur et navigateur qu’a fait le levé géodésique de la colonie et a marqué le passage de l’Équateur dans cet îlot).

Le chemin n’était pas bien signalisé, mais la comission du village près de l’Hôtel Pestana Equador avait prévu un netoyage du chemin la semaine suivante. Le local de la Marque de l’Équateur est maintenu propre par un habitant local, de par son initiative. L’Hôtel, q2ui profite assez du tourisme, pourrait bien participer un peu plus dans l’enbellissement de l’îlot.

La Marque de l’Équateus est sur une carte mondiale en carrelages en céramique de Cinca, sur un projet de Rotas de África, de 2003. Ces entreprises pourraient se charger de la réparation des carrelages brisées, avec un bénéfice publicitaite.

Il vaut la peine de monter le chemin, d’ailleurs pas trop pénible, por pouvoir tirer une photo avec un pied dans l’Hémisphère Nord et l’autre dans l’Hémisphère Sud, tuer la soif avec le jus d’une noix de coco qu’on vient d’ouvrir, et jouir la vue.
